Der Nikolaus war hier...

Here, Nikolaus (St. Nicholas) comes with presents for the children on 6th December. He usually brings some apples, oranges, nuts and chocolate as well as useful gifts like clothes and maybe a small toy.

I had made shirts and wool trousers for my boys and thought they might as well be brought to them by Nikolaus...
The shirts are made from a fantastic printed terry fabric that I got in a bog box with fabrics, bought via a sewing forum. Ever since I got the fabric I wanted to make a shirt from it - and now, finally, I made two after more than a year...

And they got a pair of these wool trousers each. Brown for the little one and purple for the older one. Sizes 86/92 and 110/116.
Both of them love their shirts. Even the little one fetches his every morning when we get dressed and gives it to me to put on.
